TOLOWA NATION/HUSS BUSINESS COUNCIL
MEETINGS
General Council meetings are held the first Saturday of the month. Elections are held in May. Any Tolowa Nation member interested in running for the council please contact us. Tolowa Nation members are welcome to attend any meeting
HUSS Business Council meetings usually follow the main General Council Meetings.

EVENTS
August 2009 Date to be established for the language camp. The Tolowa Nation Language Camp is usually held at Howland Hill Outdoor School, Redwood National & State Parks. All Tolowa descendants are eligible to attend. Call 707.458.3526 for an application. A letter with application copy to be sent to Smith River and Elk Valley Rancherias for Tolowa members who wish to attend this camp.
September 2009 California Indian Day Observance. Watch for our beachfront events near the Gazebo on  Front Street, Crescent City, CA. Salmon or Indian Taco lunch available at cost; Honoring dance , drawing, and American Indian vendors. Hours for event 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
December 6, 2008 Guschu Teahouse & Galleria will have a table at the United Indian Health Services Holiday Crafts Sales, 1600 Weeot Way, Arcata, CA.

     November 15, 2008 Elders Gathering at Redwood Acres. Sponsored by NCIDC
     December 31, 1008 Candlelight Vigil in Memory of the massacres at Yon To Ket and A Chu Let
